His service ranges from previously being on the board of the women’s shelter, Freedom’s Rest, to teaching Constitutional Law and Judicial Process at EU, educating young people on crime prevention and has taught law enforcement officers.

Ron has a STRONG WORK ETHIC.  Raised on a small family farm, Ron learned the value of hard work at a young age.  Ron is from a strong Christian family with a blue collar background.  Having high standards is a philosophy he lives by.

A Family Man

Ron is a FAMILY MAN. He has been married to Tricia for 38 years. They have two married sons and one daughter-in-law in the Air Force. He has two grandchildren, Emma and Payton, who he loves and cherishes.

Ron is a MAN OF FAITH and has a reputation of integrity.  He attends Nixa First Assembly of God Church.  Ron is thankful for our country and the freedoms that our military sacrificed to provide for each of us.

A Proven Leader

Ron is a PROVEN LEADER and public servant, in Christian county as well as in the surrounding area.  His service ranges from being on the board of the women's shelter, Freedoms' Rest, to education, to teaching crime prevention to young people.  He was a key prosecutor in Greene County for almost 15 years before becoming the elected Prosecutor of Christian County for two terms.

Ron is a FAMILY MAN.  He has been married to Tricia for 34 years.  They have two married sons who both entered the Air Force.  He has one grandchild, Emma, who is the apple of his eye.

Education & Experience

- Graduated from Evangel 1978 (B.S. in Political Science)

- Graduated 11th in his law school class 1985

- 3 years' experience in private practice in Oklahoma

- Opened his own law office in Ozark 8 years ago

- Green County Assistant Prosecutor 1988-2002

- Elected prosecutor for Christian County 2003-2010

- Tried approximately 200 jury trials, criminal & civil
